Mock Devonsire Cream. This cream does not come from Devon, England but is just delicious and easier and much quicker to make than others like Clotted Cream.
You can make Devonshire Cream in less than 5 minutes and serve it with scones. You can use it with whipped cream as well. If you try it with apple pie, you’ll rock!
The tang from the Devonshire Sour Cream has a special flavor other than you would use with regular whipped cream.
Ingredients of Devonshire Cream:
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 Tablespoon powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup sour cream (you can also use nonfat Greek Yogurt)
- Prep Time: 5 Minutes
- Total Time: 5 Minutes
- Servings: 1 1/2 cups
Instructions:
In a bowl beat cream and powdered sugar together until medium-stiff peaks form. Fold in sour cream and blend. Keep in the refrigerator until ready to use. It will be kept in the refrigerator for about 5 days.
