Lohi, Denver has some great restaurants. They’re all different, too. You can indulge in chicken shacks, Italian spots, and much more, so there’s no doubt you’ll be able to find something you fancy. But, what are the top ones?

Well, we lived in Denver for many, many years and we’ve eaten all around the city so let’s just say we know a thing or two about where you should be eating. Plus, we are major foodies, and you can trust that if we say the food is good… You better believe that the food is good!

With that said, here’s what we think are the best restaurants in Lohi, Denver.

Lastly, Chicken Rebel is another spot for die-hard chicken fans. This restaurant is female-owned and operated and is serving up some of the best chicken sandwiches in the Mile High City. The menu is full of finger-licking good chicken sandwiches including Nashville Hot Chicken with ranch slaw.

Are you looking for something cozy and moody? Consider Root Down in Lohi. They source much of their food locally, making everything on the menu that much tastier. You can go with their dinner menu, and choose from warm herbed feta, pan-roasted chicken, Bison NY strip, and more. Then forget about making a decision and get the sampler. It comes with a few little bites of everything. After the fact, you’ve gotta try their banana cream pie.

Another best Denver LoHi restaurant is Wildflower! Another all-day restaurant with local ingredients. Some menu items are Scotch salmon, NY steak strip, grilled artichokes, and so much more. Their cafe is also stunning. It has local pastries and coffee! It also has traditional ceremonial matches.

You’ll find exactly what you’d probably think, local brews and chicken. All of their chicken dishes are divine. We’d know, we eat here at least twice a month and leave every time very full.

You choose between chicken and waffles. Hand-breaded chicken tenders. Or green chile braised pork. There is also tasty sides including thigh fries, burrata marinated peppers, and more.

Looking for tasty Italian food Restaurants in LoHi? Check out Postino LoHi. This Italian restaurant is some of the best Italian food in Denver. They also have outdoor seating. Try some of their great charcuterie boards for a real treat.

In the past, if you looked inside you might have seen some pork carnitas, green peppercorn brisket, and cajun deep-fried trout. There are also usually some really good appetizers, including salads and other finger dishes.

What’s neat about Work & Class is that it’s busy all the time, but usually, you don’t have to wait super long for a seat. Also, a lot of the menu items are gluten-free.

Denver loves its food halls. We love to make out-of-town guests go to them because there are so many options. Another excellent one is Avanti F&B in Lohi (they also have a location in Boulder). Excellent burger joints, a pizzeria, a Mexican eatery, a pho restaurant, and more can be found at Avanti F&B. You can find anything here, really, regardless of what you’re feeling like doing.

The LoHi Avanti F&B can be a tough place to find a seat during the week at dinnertime, but it’s great, there’s a fun, buzzy atmosphere, and the view of the Mile High City is killer.

When you’re searching out LoHi Denver restaurants, make sure to stop by with Mizu Izakaya. This Japanese spot uses the small bites, tapas-style model, so you and your group can try loads of fabulous food.

This one is definitely on the pricier side, but it’s a fabulous spot to go for a meal and catch up with friends. Mizu Izakaya first opened in 2016 and has an incredibly open interior that fills up when the weather is warm and it’s nice and bright thanks to all of the windows.

In addition to crispy gyoza and cream pork kimchi, the menu features items like furikake fries, pork belly buns, and takoyaki. You can’t go wrong with anything you get from this creative menu.

For a more chill atmosphere in LoHi, check out Dimestore Delibar. This off-the-beaten-path restaurant has cocktails, sandwiches, and more. You’ll also find a fun outdoor area to dine.

Oh, and it’s right next to the famous Little Man Ice Cream.

Known as an Israeli restaurant, it focuses on local cuisine. The decor is very comfortable, with light colors, open wooden tables, and plenty of seating.

They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so you can’t go wrong anytime. Maybe eat falafel for dinner. They have orange juice and tomato harissa salad. And roasted carrots are on the menu.

If you’re looking for a fun time in Denver, this might be the place.

Recess is one of the best restaurants in Denver. This beer garden is always fun and one of the best outdoor spaces we’ve seen in Denver.

The restaurant is open every day, no matter what you fancy, you will find something for yourself on the menu. There are some spicy Korean BBQ wings. There are nachos with risotto and Korean burritos. What is a lack of love?

They also have a variety of drinks to go with your meal. Like a vineyard, the possibilities are endless. We were lucky enough to taste the delicious cider there several times!

Fast Room 5 is Lohi Denver’s only restaurant with a unique design. This is a restaurant that kids love!

Even though the lights are off, it’s still a popular spot for Denver’s youth. There is a living room and outdoor seating.

The whole house is treated as Instagram’s perfect paradise. Many people say it reminds them of summer camp!

Last but not least is the Lohi driver. If you like pizza and beer then this is the best place for you. Moreover, their prices are average. Many say it’s the best pizza in Denver.

Open for lunch, dinner, and happy hour. Menu options include pasta, pizza, and more. There’s also a delicious snack. This is perfect. Beetroot and ricotta bread and charcuterie plates are also available. If you’re in Reno, there’s a cart driver.
